Some of my best memories. Great music - good friends and wonderful times. I still have the reel to reel from the studio recording that you did in the middle of the night. Just had a CD made out of it. |

Hi All, My mom Fran Walker was the original manager that created Wale from the members of the Backstage Review that included (Bob Murray, Mike Marconi, Dale Croston, Phil Lallucci, and David Barnes and Gene on sound). They became Wale approximately when they added the horn sectionj that included Michael Banzhaff. She would promote them as the group from California. Great group – great times. |

Phil Lallucci was out of the band by 1972. |

Hi Dave! and Bob and Mike and Eugene! I'm the Judi that went with Eugene for 6 years in the 70's! How awesome that you have kept the memories of Wale alive. Ya'll were a huge part of my life and allowed me to travel all over the northeast coast on the weekends. I remember going with Chris, she went with the jewelry maker guy. Geez, it's been so long I can't remember some names. Before I left there was a Debbie that was always interested in the drummer. I remember Reinhart playing the violin! Lot's of great memories. Hope all is well! |

When the heck will you guys get together for a long awaited reunion?? Would be something special to hear Wale one more time!! Marconi and Munkhoff duo was totally awesome, Dave Barnes could bang with the best of them, Bob Murray commanded everyone's attention (especially my girl friend....), and Dale held it all together with solid bass backbone. Really enjoy listening to old cassettes and of course the cd's released. Thanks for the great memories guys and for inspiring me to follow my musical dreams as well. Had lots of fun playing in decent bands over the years......and it all started watching and admiring Wale at Fantasy Swings and other Rochester night clubs. Still have my first "lesson" notes from Mike (hand scribbled power cords on legal pad)....thanks again for time and attention. Email me if you read this - would like to connect and see how you're doing. Bye for now. |

I got to see Wale perform many times at the Brookside in Syracuse. When I moved
to Rochester in '77 I managed to catch more shows at the Orange Monkey and (I
think) the Penny Arcade. I ordered and received the CD, amazing how much I remember from songs I haven't heard in YEARS! |
